To create emoticons, go to Settings >> Emotive Themes.
Click on the Upload (1) tab in the emoticon widget and click on the Upload emoji (2) button.
Drop the file that wants to be used in emoticon creation and click Next.
Select the shape of the emoticon either Round or Box and click Next.
Change the settings from below if necessary and click Next.
Crop and edit the emoticon as necessary using tools above the uploaded image. Select the background(red colored lines) and foreground(green colored lines) to remove the background. Then click on the button Convert. Once the changes are done, click on Next.
Once all the changes are done, click Upload.
