Install the app
You can use this link to download and install it from Play Store. (Link – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emojot.emojot)
Steup
- Once the app is downloaded, open the app.
- First it will ask to set a password. Set the password and Click “Set As KIOSK” button.
Then a window will pop up to select home/Launcher App. Select Emojot and click Always.
The app requires to access usage status. Grant permission by clicking “OK” on the permission pop-up.
Now it will show a window to enable Usage Status access. This access will be required to work onn KIOSK mode. Toggle the Emojot on and Press OK.
Now you can press back button and it will open the Emojot app. Next Click Survey button.
It will show a box to enter your survey short Url. Two types of links are supported by the app. If the link of the Emotion Sensor® is https://emojot.com/survey, then the short url that should be entered is; “survey”. If the link of the Emotion Sensor® is https://emo.run/survey, then the short url is “survey”
Then click on Load. If you want to come back to the home screen you have to press back button 5 times within 3 seconds. If you miss one time, please wait for 5 seconds before loading again.
To exist from the app, click on the icon in top left corner select “Exit” from the menu.
Enter your password and click Exit.
It will show a dialog to select Home/default app. Select your default launcher from that and app will be get closed. This launcher will be changes based on your phone. Here its “Google Now Launcher”
If you want to set app again in KIOSK mode, open the app and select “Set as default” from the menu in left corner and it will popup to select default launcher. Select Emojot and Select “Set As Always”. In some devices when you select Emojot it will reload the app. In that case click home button and it will show the same dialog with “Set As Always” button.
