Emojot 9.6.0 – What’s new?

Platform Security

Improvements to dashboard data protection

As the Data Processor, Emojot has introduced more application level security measures to protect our clients’ (Data Controllers’) information. PII masking and user role based restrictions are imposed on PII to provide more security. By default, PII data are masked in all reports in the dashboard. “Admin” type users need to enter their credentials to unmask these data. Once a user unmask data, relevant information (user details, time, etc.) will be tracked for audit and security purposes.

Revamped back-end logging

Another data protection mechanism that is introduced with this release is the ability to identify data breaches. Emojot platform monitors all API activities to identify malicious actions related to PII data operation. When such activity occur, alerts are triggered and we take all the necessary steps to trace the same through audit trails and immediately inform our clients on the data breach and its severity.

Emotion Sensors™

Dynamically generate page titles and page content

Survey page content can be dynamically generated based on the responses given in the previous survey question pages. The same capability can be used to display the responses given by respondents to review before submitting.

Deployment

Agent portal to launch Emotion Sensors™

With this release, a new portal has been introduced to launch Emotion Sensors™. This “Agent Portal” can be used in call centers, and any other place where the screening is done over the phone or on KIOSK. Once a unique identifier such as NIC Number/SSN, telephone, etc. is entered to the system, a unique survey url is popped up. An individual key is generated upon submit.

UX Improvement to Comm-center data table view

When admins access Emojot’s Comm-center data table, the view can be personalized by adding more fields (columns) to the default table. With this release, this personalized view will be saved automatically.

“Reply-To email” option in emails

Direct replies to emails are received to the sender’s address by default. Reply-To email option allows admins to use a different email address to receive responses to the emails sent from the Comm-center.

Confirmation upon unsubscribe

When respondents unsubscribe to the emails sent by Emojot’s Comm-center, they are asked to confirm the unsubscription to prevent any accidental unsubscriptions.

Analytics

Improvements to tracing report algorithm

“Individual Contact Tracing Report” is revamped to improve the accuracy of tracing using the overlap time periods of close contacts. When a Covid-19 suspect is identified, close-contacts of the suspect can be shortlisted based on the location and overlap time of contact. The visualization aspect of the report also has been improved by providing color-coded support for the shortlisted records based on the overlap time.

Consistent filters to drill down analytics

With this release, filter sections in the dashboard are made consistent to improve user experience. Thus, users can drill-down analytics easily.
