Answer piping is an interesting feature introduced by Emojot. Emotion Sensor® UI page content can be dynamically generated based on the responses given in the previous survey question pages. The same capability can be used to display the responses given by respondents to review the responses they have given before submitting the sensor.
This capability allows the users to display different content in title areas of the sensors without having to add multiple pages using skip logic. If you want to learn more about skip logic, please refer to this article >> Skip-logic
Go to Emotion Sensor® edit, then to Design step. Then click on the cogwheel icon next to the emoticon (response) where you want to show different content based on the response a respondent selects. Then, select the Answer piping option.
Once clicked on Answer piping, it opens up a window where you can enter the content you want the respondents to see once they select this particular response. Enter the text in this area and click on Apply. (Any HTML styling can be added here)
Then, go to the page where this title text should be displayed on and go to page settings. (In the example shown below, the above title text should be shown in the page where respondents select their preferred language (page 17).
Inside Settings, enter the question number of the previous question within $$ as below.
Then click on Apply and Update the sensor.
Once it is loaded, the title area looks as below. The highlighted content is shown in the image are entered as answer piping.
